Availability controls when customers can book time with you. The goal is to offer enough choice without creating scheduling stress.
Start with a realistic schedule
Choose blocks you can consistently protect. A small number of reliable slots is better than a wide calendar you keep needing to change.
Consider:
- Your working hours.
- Time zone differences.
- Preparation time.
- Recovery time between sessions.
- Delivery work after a call.
Set session expectations
Your coaching product should explain what happens during the session, how long it lasts and who it is for.
If customers need to prepare anything, add that to the product description or booking instructions.
Leave buffer time
Do not stack sessions too tightly if you need notes, setup or a break between calls. Buffers reduce late starts and rushed calls.
Review after the first bookings
After a few sessions, adjust your availability based on demand and energy. Your calendar should support the business, not drain it.
